MRCOG II Exam Format
Written Exam (Part 2)
Two written papers:
Paper 1 (3 hours) = 50% of the total mark
50 SBA = 40% of total mark (70 minutes)
50 EMQs = 60% of total mark (110 minutes)
Lunch break (approx 60 minutes)
Paper 2 (3 hours) = 50% of the total mark
50 SBA = 40% of total mark (70 minutes)
50 EMQs = 60% of total mark (110 minutes)
Total: 100 SBA + 100 EMQs over 6 hours
Clinical Assessment (Part 3)
* Maximum 4 attempts
* Within 7 years of part 2
14 tasks: 14 examiners, 12 minutes per task

6. Management of labour
7. Management of delivery
8. Postpartum problems (the puerperium)

10. Subfertility
